Key Themes
From thought-provoking conversations to some friendly competition at the Unseen stand, it was brilliant to connect with so many talent acquisition and early careers professionals who are shaping the future of hiring.
One of the biggest themes running through the day was the desire to create recruitment experiences that are more connected, more human and more effective.
We had some genuinely interesting conversations around both the challenges and opportunities facing talent acquisition and early careers teams today.
It was particularly encouraging to see so many organisations taking a step back to look at the bigger picture. Conversations were moving beyond simply filling vacancies and towards creating experiences that attract, engage and retain great people over the long term.
Whether organisations were discussing assessment, candidate engagement, employer branding or onboarding, there was a shared focus on improving the complete candidate and employee journey rather than treating recruitment as a series of disconnected stages.
Assessment
There was huge interest in how fair, evidence-based assessment can improve hiring quality while creating a better experience for candidates.
Engagement
Teams are exploring new ways to engage candidates throughout the recruitment journey with more personalised and meaningful interactions.
Authenticity
Authentic, employee-generated content continues to grow in importance as organisations look for better ways to showcase their culture and attract the right talent.
One thing became clear: Organisations are no longer looking for isolated recruitment tools. They’re looking for connected solutions that support candidates and employees at every stage of their journey.
